A clear account of site data.

What this portfolio processes now, what will happen when Contact delivery and optional Insights subscriptions are activated, and which safeguards remain before launch.

01

Who is responsible

Emmanuel Nnebedum operates this independent portfolio and is responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through it is used. No incorporated company, office, data protection officer or registration is represented by this notice.

02

Information involved

If you send a project enquiry, the form asks for your name, email address, project type, a description of what you want to accomplish, project stage and timeline. An organization name and description of the current problem are optional. A hidden honeypot field is used only to reject likely spam.

Routine visits may also involve request, network, device and diagnostic information handled by the hosting infrastructure. If you choose to subscribe to Insights, the subscription form asks only for your email address. This portfolio has no visitor accounts, customer database, uploads, comments or ecommerce checkout.

03

Why information is used

Enquiry information is used to validate the submission, understand the business situation, reply to the person who contacted Emmanuel and, where relevant, discuss steps requested before a possible project agreement. It is not permission to add someone to a marketing list.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the relevant lawful basis may be taking requested steps before a possible contract and/or the legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries. Legitimate interests in operating and securing the portfolio may also apply to limited infrastructure processing. Insights email is optional and based on an explicit subscription request where consent is required. Consent is not used as a blanket basis.

04

Contact enquiries and email delivery

Contact delivery is production-ready in code but is not active until deployment safeguards and configuration are verified. A valid enquiry will first be sent as a plain-text notification through Resend to Emmanuel. Only after that critical notification is accepted will the form report that the enquiry was received. Resend will then send a short acknowledgement to the visitor; an acknowledgement problem does not falsely mark an already received enquiry as lost.

The application does not write enquiry bodies, email addresses or provider responses to its own logs or database. Resend will process message content, the reply address and delivery records under the production account settings and provider terms that must be verified before activation.

05

Insights emails and unsubscribe

The Insights form is separate from project enquiries. Submitting an email through that form is an affirmative request for occasional writing about business websites, software decisions, ecommerce and systems thinking. A project enquiry never creates a marketing subscription.

Resend stores the email as a subscribed Contact, sends one restrained welcome message for a new or renewed subscription, and can deliver future Insights broadcasts. The required production configuration has open and click tracking disabled; the Resend dashboard setting must be verified before activation. Every welcome message provides an unsubscribe route, and future Resend broadcasts must include Resend's managed unsubscribe control. Unsubscribed contacts are retained only to the extent needed for Resend to honour that preference and are excluded from future broadcasts.

06

Website analytics and cookies

This portfolio does not use website analytics, advertising tracking, behavioral profiling or third-party analytics scripts. It defines no custom analytics events and does not send Contact or Insights form information to an analytics provider.

The site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. It also does not use browser storage for analytics, so it does not show a cookie-consent banner for this configuration. This position must be reassessed before introducing tracking or storage technology.

07

Service providers and international processing

Netlify is the intended hosting infrastructure. Resend is the prepared email delivery and Insights Contact management provider; those features remain inactive until production configuration is verified. They are service and infrastructure providers, not sponsors or business partners.

These providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions. Provider account terms, subprocessors, transfer arrangements and relevant safeguards must be checked for the actual production plans before launch; this notice does not claim that information remains in a visitor's country.

08

How long information is kept

No production Contact enquiry or Insights subscription is currently delivered because production configuration is inactive. Before Contact is enabled, Emmanuel must approve and implement a schedule for reviewing and deleting unsuccessful enquiries and active project conversations, and this notice must state the final periods.

If a project relationship begins, relevant correspondence and business records may need a separate retention period based on the agreement and applicable accounting, tax or legal requirements. Hosting and Resend records follow the verified production plan and provider settings. Insights email addresses remain with Resend while subscribed; after unsubscribe, the minimum suppression record needed to honour that choice may remain. Information should not otherwise be kept indefinitely just in case it becomes useful.

09

Data minimization and security

The Contact form is limited to information useful for understanding and responding to a project enquiry. It does not ask for a telephone number, address, budget, date of birth, demographic information or payment details. Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information or confidential credentials.

The application uses bounded server validation, private server-only delivery configuration, a honeypot and restricted request size. These are reasonable safeguards, not a promise that internet transmission or provider systems are completely secure. Distributed production rate limiting remains required before the Contact and Insights forms go live.

10

Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you are and the law that applies, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal information, to object to certain processing, or to receive portable information where that right applies. You may also be able to complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.

The portfolio does not sell personal information, use it for behavioral advertising, perform significant automated decision-making or use project enquiries for marketing email. Insights subscribers can withdraw their subscription at any time. It is a professional services portfolio and is not directed to children.
